The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) is meeting this week in Pittsburgh, PA, for the organization’s 75th annual international conference, the organization’s first in-person annual meeting after a pandemic hiatus. University of California Press is proud to be the publisher of the SAH’s flagship journal, the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (JSAH). We have worked with the editors of JSAH to curate a list of articles and reviews from the journal that provide insight into the architectural history of Pittsburgh and its influence(s). Whether you are in Pittsburgh for the conference and, thus, able to visit some of the locations discussed in the pieces below or reading this from home and traveling vicariously, we invite you to read these selections for free online.
